Nick is a member of the MBA class of 2021 concentrating in Energy Finance. He is a Houston native and graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a degree in Chemical Engineering. He began his career working for ConocoPhillips as a Facilities Engineer, working primarily on Lower 48 projects. Nick then transitioned to Mergers & Acquisitions consulting with EY, focused on providing operational support across the deal lifecycle. He worked this summer in Restructuring & Turnaround for FTI Consulting and will be returning upon graduation from McCombs.
Ehren is a member of the MBA class of 2021 with a concentration in Finance and Strategy. He grew up north of Houston and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Following graduation, Ehren worked for LyondellBasell as an engineer in several different capacities including as a production engineer and an energy engineer. In the summer of 2020, he interned with Strategy& in Houston in their operations strategy group.
Corey is a member of the MBA class of 2021 with a concentration in Finance. Prior to McCombs, Corey worked as a management consultant in the E&P and OFS sectors of the energy industry at Schlumberger, Accenture & Wood Mackenzie. In the summer of 2020, he interned in Houston as an Investment Banking Associate at Tudor, Pickering, Holt & Co. Corey graduated from Rice University in 2014 with a BS in Chemical Engineering.
Dan is a member of the MBA class of 2021, pursuing a concentration in Strategy & Innovation. He graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Marketing, and prior to McCombs, Dan worked as a field-based upstream facilities engineer for BHP Billiton in the Eagleford. His roles ranged from pipeline construction to production optimization. During the summer of 2020, he interned with Strategy& in Houston and consulting clients within the Energy, Utilities, and Resources division.
Austin is an MBA candidate with a concentration in Energy Finance and Strategy in the McCombs MBA Class of 2021. Austin is a native Houstonian and a graduate of SMU’s Lyle School of Engineering with a BS in Civil Engineering with Honors in the Liberal Arts. Prior to attending McCombs, Austin worked for the leading international geoscience firm Fugro, where he spent over seven years leading offshore site investigations for the design and construction of energy infrastructure, from ultradeep oil and gas projects to nearshore ports, LNG facilities, and windfarms. In the summer of 2020, Austin will intern as a Summer Associate at Credit Suisse in the Energy Investment Banking office in Houston.
